Patient Assistance Programs (PAP)
for Specialty Pharmacy Medications
Most specialty pharmacy medications are very expensive, creating higher copays for patients. Various organizations, including pharmacuetical manufacturers and not-for-profit organizations, provide patients with financial support to assist them in paying for all or part of these costly copays.

Chronic Disease Fund
The Chronic Disease Fund is a non-profit, full service financial and medication assistance organization, supporting patients with more than a dozen different diseases, including many types of cancer, multiple sclerosis, asthma and macular degeneration. Patients are able to be pre-enrolled by their pharmacies.

The Healthwell Foundation
A non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to underinsured patients living with chronic or life-altering diseases — such as cancer, asthma and autoimmune disorders — who cannot afford their copayments, coinsurance and premiums for important medical treatments.

Patient Advocate Foundation
A national non-profit organization whose copay Relief Program provides financial assistance to patients who meet certain qualifications to help them pay for the prescriptions and/or treatments they need. This assistance lets patients who have chronic, life threatening and/or debilitating illnesses afford the out-of-pocket costs for these items that their insurance companies require.
